What's included
The long gallery
Seated dinners to 80, receptions to 120. Candlelight, paintings floor to ceiling, and the great Skerry lens glowing in the courtyard beyond.
The quarterdeck
Summer ceremonies aboard the smack Skerry Maid for up to 40 guests, gulls included at no extra charge.
Full crew
Events manager, evening guides, trusted caterers and a late-licensed bar. You bring the people; we handle the tide tables.
How it works
From first look to last dance
- 1Come and look. Evening show-rounds every Thursday — walk the gallery, test the acoustics, watch the light change.
- 2Chart the evening. Our events manager plans timings, menus and music with you, down to the last candle.
- 3Celebrate. Galleries stay open late for your guests, with guides on hand and the courtyard under stars.

Good to know
How many guests can you hold?
The long gallery seats 80 for dinner and holds 120 for receptions. The quarterdeck hosts ceremonies up to 40.
Can we use our own caterers?
Our three partner caterers know the building best, but licensed outside caterers are welcome by arrangement.
How far ahead should we book?
Saturdays go a year out; winter Fridays can often be arranged within weeks. Tell us your date and we'll be honest.
